This looks great, a lot bolder and snappier than your previous template.
Re: the comment about sans serif fonts -- actually, many studies have shown that we read serif fonts much more easily (even though it intuitively seems like the cleaner sans serif fonts would be the easier ones to read). I think for me what's making the sidebar more readable than the posts is the text color. The white on burgundy background fuzzes out a bit because of the harsh contrast, while the red text is a little easier on the eyes (true of the links as well, which are serif fonts.)
